A rare bamboo from Southern China, the culms develop a powder-like
waxy "bloom" which give them an elegant, soft blue color.
This is a medium tight clumper and requires a little more room in
the garden than some of the tight clumpers. A beautiful accent plant. |

Emeiensis Flavidovirens (Lemon Lime)
This rare bamboo promises to be a great hit.
It is a tight clumber, very erect, and branchless near the ground.
It goes through wonderful transformations of color and striping,
with canes that are light green with dark green stripes, yellow
with green stripes and dark green canes with light green stripes.

This is a new import from China. It has beautiful
yellow canes with occasional green striping and some occasional
variegation in the leaves. It has a vertical growth form with
low branching. It makes a stunning ornamental.

This is an outstanding ornamental bamboo,
with lemon-yellow canes accented by dark green stripes. It is
fast growing. Unlike other bamboos, it tends to continue to branch
low, even when mature. This is rapidly becoming a popular landscape
specimen. We trim the lower branches to expose the beautiful
canes.

One of the tallest bamboos in the world,

minor Amoenus (Ghost Bamboo, Angel Mist Bamboo)
This is one of our top five favorites. A
very rare bamboo from Southern China, it features yellow-green
culms with darker green and yellow striations (stripes). The
mature clump does not produce lower branches, making it ideal
for the smaller garden or along a walkway.
